Learn chess without stress with this innovative game from Winning Moves! The secret is the game's deck of action cards, each of which depicts a chess piece and how it moves. Kids start by drawing a card and moving the piece depicted; the board provides hints to help kids remember different piece names and movements. As they become more comfortable with both the rules and strategic thinking, kids can draw three cards and select the one they think will work best. Then, they can flip the two-sided board over and play standard chess!
