Meg Braun is an American singer/songwriter who currently works out of Brooklyn, NY. She is an advocate for the acoustic music scene in New York, and co-founder of the Christopher Street Coffeehouse. Strong Women is from her second album Broken Places. In it, she sings about the challenges that her mother and grandmother had to fight through, and the determination and courage that their stories have given to her. She remembers that, in both the best and worst moments of her life, her family's strength is there to support and encourage her.
