Singing Bowls are an ancient Tibetan meditation tool. The pure sound produced when the rim is rubbed by the mallet is said to put the brain into a meditative state. This bowl is handmade in Nepal, made of Panchaloga, which is literally translated from Sanskrit as Five Metals: the metal alloys contain copper, tin, zinc, iron and other metals. A handcrafted wooden striker is also included. The mouth of the bowl is 4 inches wide and it's approximately 3 inches deep; however, as each bowl is individually made, variations in appearance and size occur.
