Unwritten is the title track from Natasha Bedingfield's first solo album, and was the third single released from that album. It was extremely successful, becoming the most played song on US radio for the year 2006. Unwritten celebrates aspirations, empowerment, and being true to yourself.
Bedingfield has also been active with charity, and she is an ambassador for Global Angels, an international children's charity that was founded by her mother, Molly Bedingfield. Global Angels is devoted to preventing child trafficking and fighting child poverty around the world.
Notes for Parents: The lyrics of Unwritten are suitable for all ages, and the concepts apply equally well to young girls as to teens. The video does have some revealing wardrobe and an enthusiastic kissing session between a couple on an elevator, but it is bright, encouraging, and positive in tone.
Lyrical Notes: None Video Notes: Suggestive Imagery/Wardrobe, Suggestive Situations
