No pouring your own plates, which is time consuming and potentially dangerous, and no autoclaving is required, and the thick, nutrient rich agar is an excellent medium for growing bacteria, molds, and other fungi.
This kit contains 10 pre-poured sterile TS (tryptic soy) nutrient agar plates, 10 sterile cotton tipped swabs, a bottle of non-alcohol based hand sanitizer to be used in experiments, two transfer pipettes, and a set of basic instructions for growing your own bacterial samples.
